Consumer Cellular is a wireless company that was built on the premise that everyone should have the ability to have the safety and security of a cellphone, at an affordable cost. Since 2008, they have been the exclusive wireless partner of AARP, making them the go-to provider for those 50+.As the Creative Director, I set the vision for the brand message and visuals for the anticipated creative campaigns for consideration, acquisition and retention.
I lead a team of creatives that build a varying body of work representing the brand externally in media, customer communication, website/e-commerce and retail as well as internally within recruitment, facilities and HR. Having been with Consumer Cellular for over eight years, I have developed the team from myself in 2014, to a growing team of nine designers, writers and production coordinators.
In addition to the internal creative team, I work hand-in-hand with all of our creative agencies that support our broadcast and digital media development, including creative direction, talent, budgets, schedule and creative rotation for 3-4 direct response campaigns and 1-2 brand campaigns each year.
Our brand has been awarded 12 times in a row by J.D Power for both Customer Service and Experience—which speaks to our ongoing efforts to communicate onboarding, customer and device support effectively to our group of customers. Our welcome package is considered their first customer support experience after converting to our service and we pride ourselves on ensuring it's the best in class.

Lead the evolution of Brooks brand by further defining and strengthening its visual vocabulary and assets and testing their application through new designs, illustrations, templates, and physical fixtures.Review deliverables and provide direction to freelancers, junior staff or agency partners.
Serve as the champion for the brand, ensuring both design aesthetic and brand voice are upheld across every touchpoint from the most complex, multifaceted project to a single sales tool.
Direct and manage the seasonal action/lifestyle photoshoots, and product photoshoots; managing brand aesthetic and product team requests to ensure the end result has the ability to span a wide range of projects.
Conceptualize and design marketing campaigns, brand assets, printed and electronic collateral, templates, print and outdoor adverting, and some digital communications.
Manage marketing tools and creative deliverables from concept to completion including facilitating project-related meetings to discuss feedback, acquiring detailed project information and critique of materials.
Leverage visual communication strategies to help internal clients attain their marketing and communications objectives in new, smarter, unexpected ways; help establish systems or templates that alleviate ongoing requests.
Actively seek out fresh ideas, insights and inspiration to fuel creative or campaign brainstorm sessions.
